Event Description

You've always said "I could do this better" - and now you CAN! Come to the party of the year, and spend a couple of hours making it one everyone will remember! Captains are required to spend time at the door, and if we get enough first mates to help, we can have one of you take online purchases with credit cards. Contact me to pick your time ... the first one has already been taken.

We have a limited number of slots, so it's first come, first serve. We need help decorating and taking it down afterwords, drink servers (no, you don't have to split the tips with the Corsairs!), people to help run the games, events, etc.

If you've already volunteered with one of the Captains, you MUST also inform me, or it's not official. If you're a Captain who's running an event and you have a list of volunteers, PLEASE send it to me ASAP!

Volunteers MUST purchase their tickets to the Raid by October 19th, or they will be removed from the list. When you get it, email me your ticket number.

If you're new, this is a GREAT way to meet the people of other ships! There will be a lot of non-Corsairs there as well, and we need you to help show them what scurvy bas... um, GREAT FOLK we pirates be!

We could still use a couple of people to run the dice games, and people to stay and help take down decorations. Waz thought it would be nice to have serving wenches to run between the tables and the bar (and keep any tips they make), but unless I get at least four or five I'm not going to bother, and so far I have one "maybe". Anyone who gets on my Volunteer spreadsheet can buy a ticket at $25, whether their job gets cancelled or not on the day, lol.

What areas are in need of volunteers?

WELCOME DANIEL, a pirate all the way from Vegas, coming to help us set up, take down, and whatever else we can shanghai him for! (shhh, don't tell). And not even for a discount, since he bought his tickets in May. THIS IS GOING TO BE A **GREAT** EVENT!!!

WANTED a couple loud mouths! Must have booming voice and speach that is easy to understand.

I need some volunteers to perform as "town criers."
A "town crier" will move between the hall and courtyard announcing attractions. I need a least two maybe more.

See me for consideration.

Cap'n Gato,

If the volunteer numbers are low you can split the games into two tables. One with dice and one with cards then just schedule the switch from Black Jack to Texas Hold 'Em.

Thank you, Captain Gato! I'm sure a lot of people will be interested in such booty-licious gaming!

Any volunteers for the gaming should respond to me first so I can verify you to Captain Brianna. The sooner you volunteer the better choice you have for time slot and game. Each volunteer is expected to do an hour of service so speak up soon. We want to have four games; Liars Dice, Acey Deucy, Texas Hold Them and Blackjack. First shift to start at 8:00PM, last shift to end at 12:50AM. If we don't get enough volunteers games will be eliminated and volunteers shifted to fill empty slots in games that survive so be prepared. Corsairs we need you to make this happen without crew doing their part we amount to nothing.
