It is the Dems who want to ignore the problem of illegal immigrants as they suck our economy dry and surrender ANOTHER war which IS about protecting American lives and culture. It appears to me that the Dems are AGAINST the U. S. people and therefore a menace to the security of me and my family. They want to give up many of our countries rights to the UN with the Sea Treat. They want to promote NAFTA which will allow people, maybe terrorists, from other countries to have unlimited access to anywhere in this country. They might have produce, or they might have nuclear or biohazardous material. The Dems don't care. They are not simply leftist, they are socialist.
The Republicans have now filled the liberal vacuum that was left when the Dems went socialist, so they are not much better. Our only hope is that the Conservative populace which remains in America, will put enough pressure on the next (Republican) president to keep him in line and REALLY represent the people of the United States of America.
Now that Romney has dropped out (he seemed to have the only rational approach to dealing with illegal immigration --- "invite them to go home", and deny them employment), and it looks like the Rep. nominee will be the AZ senator, maybe you desert pirates can put pressure on him to take more of a Romney attitude (I'm hoping he might invite Romney to be his VP). When did this country turn up-side-down in regards to this issue. INS used to be initials to be feared.
Maybe a pirate for president would be a good solution. Repel all boarders!

("what part of 'illegal' don't you understand in regard to illegal immigration?")
Unless a miracle happens and the current possible nominees get their heads out of their arses, I'm left with no other choice but to write in my own name.
Romney was the only "conservative-ish possibility we had with any real chance. Ron Paul, though he may be rather drastic, was the only real conservative in the mix. He has strong convictions. This country NEEDS to be SHAKEN VIGOROUSLY and thumped on the head. WAKE UP!!!!!!!
Whoa - that's a might stronger than I would have put it -- but I do agree. Great graphics! I have always admired John McCain for his courage and what he's gone through, but I do not care for his political stances that past few years. I was really sad to see Romney drop out . He gave a wonderful interview on Los Angeles radio station KFI 640 AM. You can hear it archived at: http://www.johnandkenshow.com/archives/2008/02/04/
Johnny Mac is not what he promotes himself as. He helped the viet cong to infict more casualties after his capture. He broke under so called torture. In fact, he broke to avoid torture. He was no freedom fighter. Once he got into office, he made sure that congress sealed all info pertaining to POW's, so we might never find out how much damage he caused while intered. He's no hero. His current agenda is nothing but pure liberalism. His treachery runs deep. People should research this man before falling for the spin.
Pirates would back any politician who would turn a blind eye to their nefarious activities, however, a pirate would probably not join any political group. The less of a paper trail the better for a pirate. Which brings up forgery.....
Though I do not agree with all of you on several statements and do agree with several made in the last few posts one thing I am glad to see is that the pirate community is more informed and more interested in what is going on politically than the average American out there who are giving up our freedoms without a fight and don't really know why they're voting for who. It's just too bad that too many of our elections now is to vote for the lesser of two evils and not for someone we would really like to see run. Now I know we all have our opinions on politics but this is a friendly website so let's keep it civil even in our disagreements about how best to solve this country's problems, too many a fight has started with a simple political discussion. The only thing that I would like to insist on is that if you don't like the way it is and complain make sure you VOTE. We can change the world! Love, peace and happiness.
I am with Gato in being impressed with how informed some are. It is also a bit disturbing that a bunch of freaks (much love in that statement) that like to play dress up on the weekends are more with it than the 'average American'. Also, because I know he will not take the time to post, I will play secretary. The better half, Shaun F. MadBlaze, has stated that in reality, while we should consider who, as leader, is best for our country's economic stability and international relations, we should also be thinking, who would best lead us through the impending attack of Zombies! Yes, he is insane.
