The Arizona Corsair Network

So, I was doing some net surfing.... and thinking.... and damned near crashed. (two things at once ye understand...) and was thinking, as a capt that takes a hands on approch w/ the galley, it'd be cool to find some period-ish dishes... and came across this... http://www.gone-ta-pott.com/Pirate_Recipes.html now, I'll say not all of em sound all that great..... but others.... Hmmmm I wanna try.
figured it was cool and something to share.... and maybe some stuff to pick up on for the next bucc's ball... shrug.

Well yer right some do sound better than others... Of course, what's a meal without somethin' to drink? Here's a link for some beverages to wash down the grub:

I also found a few more recipes here: http://www.seafairpirates.org/AboutPirates/PirateRecipes/recipes.htm.

If it's a feast ye all want, let me know... i'll drag along, i mean gather up some volunteers, do the shopping and prepare the foods for a grand time for all. Of course those wishing to partake would need to contribute a bit of their booty to pay for the food.

May have to try some of these sometime. Found a site with other versions of some of these favorites, but I don't go for anchovies :P http://www.katyberry.com/Dorianne/galley.html
