this one be mine please feel free to post up the full lyrics of ye own as well,

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

15 men on a dead mans chest

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

drink and the devil had done fer the rest

yo ho ho and a bottle O rum

the mate twas fixed by the bosun's pike
the bosun brained with the marlinspike
an' cooky throat twas marked belike
it been gripped by fingers 10
an' there they lay all good dead men
like break o day in a boozing ken

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

15 men on the whole ship's list

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

dead an' be damned an' gone with the whist
the skipper lay with his nob in gore
where the scullion's axe in his cheek had shore
an' the scullion stabbed four times four
an' there they lay, an' the soggy skies
dripped all day in upstaring eyes
at murk sunset, an' at foul sunrise

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

15 men o 'em stiff an' stark

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

10 o the crew had the murder mark
there was cutless swipe, an' ounce O lead
or a yawing hole in a battered head
an' the scuppers run glut with a'rotting red
an' there they lay
AYE!
damn me eyes
all lookouts clapped on paradise
all souls bound just contrarywise

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

15 men o'em good an' true

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

ev'ry man jack could 'ave sailed with ole Pew

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

there was chest on chest O spanish gold
with a ton O plate in middle hold
an' the cabin's riot O stuff untold
an' they lay what took the plum
with sightless glare, an' their lips struck dumb
while we shared all by rule O thumb

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

15 men on a dead mans chest

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

drink an the devil had done with the rest

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum

we wrapped'em all in a mains'l all tight
with twice ten turns O a hawsers bight
an' we heaved'em ov'r an' out O sight
with a yo heave ho an' a fair thee well
an' a sudden plunge in a swollen swell
10 fathoms deep on the road to hell

yo ho ho an' a bottle O rum!

Everybody, listen to me,
and return me, my ship.
I'm your captain, I'm your captain,
though I'm feeling mighty sick.

I've been lost now, days uncounted,
and it's months since,
I've seen home.
Can you hear me, can you hear me,
or am I all alone?

If you return me, to my home port,
I will kiss you,
mother earth.
Take me back now, take me back now,
to the port, of my birth.

Am I in my cabin dreaming,
or are you really scheming,
to take my ship away from me.
You'd better think about it,
I just can't live without it,
so please don't take my ship from me.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

I can feel the hand, of a stranger,
and it tightening,
around my throat.
Heaven help me, heaven help me,
take this stranger, from my boat.
I'm your captain, I'm your captain,
though I'm feeling mighty sick.
Everybody, listen to me,
and return me, my ship,
I'm your captain, yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm your captain, yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm your captain, yeah yeah yeah yeah
I'm your captain, yeah yeah yeah yeah

I'm getting closer to my home.
(this line repeats ad nauseum)

Its a mix of very fast fingerpickin' in d d/c then switches to a slower riff in a minor chord. Ends up wi' heavy slow strings fer a long fade out. Tis Grand Funk Railroad btw. (I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home)

as i went out even-ing- upon- my nights career--
i spied- a lof-ty clipper ship and to her i did steer---
i hoi-sted up my signals which she did plainly veiw---
and when i had my bunting up she immed-iate-ly hoved- to----
she had a dark and rov-ing eye-- her hair hung down in ringa-lets-
a nice girl a decent girl but one of the rakish kind-
escuse me sir she said to me for being out so late--
for if my parents heard of this then sad would be my fate-
my father is a mini-ster a good and vir-to-us man--
my mother is a meth-o-dist i do the best i can--
i eyed that girl both up and down for i'd heard such talk before--
for when she moored herself to me- well i knew she was a whore--
but still she was a pret-ty girl she shyly hung her head---
i'll go along with you me lad this to me she said----
she had a dark and rov-ing eye her hair hung down in ring-lets---
a nice girl a decent girl but one of the rakish kind--
well i took her to a tav-er-n and'a treated her with wine-
oh little did i ever think she was of the rakish kiind--
i handled her i dandled her but much to my surprise---
she was only an old pirate ship rigged up in a disguise----
so up the stairs and into bed i took that maiden fair--
i fired off my can-non-- into her patch of hair-
i fired off a broadside till my shot was spent--
and rammed that fireship's waterline till my ram was bent----
she had a dark and rov-ing eye her hair hung down in ringa-lets--
a nice girl a decent girl but one of the rakish kind
then in the morn-ing she was gone my money was gone to---
me clothes she hocked, my watch she stole, me seabag pitted to---
but she left behind a sou-ven-ir- i'd have ye all to know----
and in 9 days to my surp-rise there was fire down below-----
so listen all you sail-or-men who sail upon the seas--
beware them there fire-ships one was the ruin of me---
beware them- steer- clear- of them-- they'll be the death of yo-u--
twas there i had my mizzen sprung me strongbox broken thru----
she had a dark and roving eye her hair hung down in ringlets
a nice girl a decent girl but one of the rak-ish- kind--

The Fire Ship as sung by John Patrick without the chorus after each line lol i've the mp3 of it if'n any o ye be a'wanting it

The parody of Captain Jack and the Mermaid... warning adult version:

Captain Jack was a young man when he went to sea
All me young ladies go and kiss him goodbye
He was barely a child of twenty and three
Oh tell him young ladies, go and tell him for me
He can marry the mermaid that lives in the sea

I was faithful and waited when he went to sea
All me young ladies go and kiss him goodbye
For I knew we'd be wedded my Jackie and me
Oh tell him young ladies, go and tell him for me
He can marry the mermaid that lives in the sea

Captain Jack met a mermaid when he went to sea
All me young ladies go and kiss him goodbye
In the blink of an eye he forgot about me
Oh tell him young ladies, go and tell him for me
He can marry the mermaid that lives in the sea

I was less in his eyes than this beautiful maid
I did love and was true, this is how he repaid
Then he sends back his crew with this question for me:
MayI marry this mermaid that lives in the sea?

What would you do?

Now a girl of the land has two legs you can see
And the treasures between them defined easily
But a mermaid's a fish from the waist to the ground
And in fish such treasure has never been found

So I said,Yes.

Now my Jackie has left in the teeth of the gale,
Ore to marry some sea-slut with crabs on her tail
Now he wails on the rocks for hes found much to late
That the creatures of ocean and land cannot mate!

Captain Jack is an Asshole it's easy to see!
All me young ladies tell him, Piss off and die
For he left all his gold and his best friend with me,
Oh tell him young ladies, go and tell him for me
He can freeze off his balls in the cold northern sea
Oh tell him young ladies, go and tell him for me
He can freeze off his balls in the cold northern sea
