Arrrrgggg me mateys! I am writing to lett EVERYONE know that I am scheduling the entertainment for Aldea and I have needs.

I need to fill 4 sets of approxiamately 60 minutes each. Some acts will be longer some shorter when scheduled so DO NOT fret if you have an act the is not 60 minutes.

This stream is so I can keep everybody up to date and get any referrals from you easily. If you know of an act you would like to suggest you can post the it here. I am pretty internet saavy and can usually find them on the WWW. I will do my best to post up the results of any referral and favorites as we progress.

If we all lift then no load is to heavy.

Thank you,
-G

This past weekend Sean and I saw a band called Keltic Cowboys and they are Sean's personal favorites at this time. They will be playing next weekend at the Dubliner (below). I have already contacted them regarding playing in person and via email. Feel free to go see them and offer me your opinion. If you would like to introduce yourself at their show that is fine by me however I must request for any questions regarding scheduling them ect. YOU REFER THEM BACK TO ME. They have my contact information and I circulated it the last meeting. Let me know if you need it.

Thank you,

Gigi

The Keltc Cowboys will be playing at Rosie McAffrey's on 7/25 that's next Saturday folks. They seem to be the favorite so far - get out there and see them.

I have received word that the Keltic Cowboys will not be available for the Raid on Aldea.

They did not sight a specific reason other than they were unavailable.

Two weeks ago I saw a band called Traveler at Rula Bula. They are a fusion band (4 members) and may be a good fit for our show. A good portion of their music contains the fiddle or violin and they had a large following. The lead Scott Jeffers plays solo every Wednesday at the Dubliner. The full band has no upcoming dates on the web site. I will keep you posted.

Anybody in tight with Scott Jeffers? Please contact me...we have need of a courtyard quartet and his group may be perfect.

About a moth ago I saw a band called the Knockabouts from Northern AZ. They would make a fab court yard act. They have some shows coming up in Flagstaff for all of you who want to escape the heat.

The weekend of June 26th (next weekend) I will be going out to see a band called the Brazen Heads at Rosie McAffrey's. I am pretty excited about this group and you are all welcome to join....the band goes on around 9pm but the bar packs up so I suggest getting there early for a good seat. Please let me know if you will be attending and on which day. Perhaps we can go together.
