Crew,

You never know where life is going to take you. I’m not making the announcements I thought I would be making at this time last year.

I thank you all for being on my crew and participating in the Corsairs. I am indebted to my officers for keeping things running so well in my absence.

I am proud to tell you that I will sponsor my first mate, Brianna the Oblivious, as a Captain in the Arizona Corsairs, when my Captain “probation” period ends in late June.

I will be turning my attention to developing a pirate crew in the TN area. The DeSade will remain an official ship and will have a presence at events when I can arrange it but will no longer be active in all Corsair events and will no longer have “ship” events in Arizona.

Because I want each of you to enjoy what the Corsairs have to offer and be active participants, I am encouraging each of you who are in Arizona to leave The DeSade and join an active ship. I hope that you will give Brianna a chance when she gets her official ship as she has some great plans. However, what is important to me is that you pick a Captain and ship crew that you are comfortable with and with which you can continue to grow, learn and have fun with the Corsairs. Each and every Captain has something to offer.

The short of this is that the Arizona members of the ship are being allowed to join other ships without “going into the water” (the required waiting period when switching ships).

I am proud to be a Corsair, proud of what we stand for, and treasure the deep friendships I have within this group. Thank you all for your support and participation. I hope to see you all continue with the Corsairs.

Capt Robert Darksouls, Wife The Purple Iris Gave birth to a Beautiful baby girl, Named Ava, 7.12 lbs, 20 inches, dark hair lots of it. looks beautiful as mom. chubby cheeks like dad
