They are very lovely birds. I started studying Macaws in 6th grade, and never dreamed I would have one let alone two. My mother decided a few years ago that she needed mroe affection, and told dad if he didn't start being more affectionate, she was getting a bird. First she got a Soloman Island Eclectus who we had for a year, but who passed away from liver disease. Then after 6 months, Mom and I and Rob went and bought the two macaws. The rainbow one, is calypso, I stand to inherit her when mom passes away, and Rob is supposed to get Sydney. Anyway, they live at mom's house, and that picture was taken 2 years ago the day before my birthday party. when we finished the pirate cake. I didn't post pictures of that there, but it was pretty cool. 3-D with found objects, candy, and cake. Anyway, I hope things are going well for you! Take care!
