Is there a general timetable of events? I looked but didn't see anything. I'll probably have to work that night, but if I can get out early I might be able to catch a few events.

Very cool! But I think it would end up taking too much prep time and extra work during gameplay versus the actual physical act of moving a miniature or rolling a die. Plus, how do I but my extra special mojo spin on a virtual die?!?!

The hosting space shouldn't be a concern. There are tons of ning communities with thousands of members and the only one that I know of that was going to be getting charged was the one that its members used the forum for a lot of their own online a...

Portland Sets A World Record -- For Pirates!!

The city of Portland and the 2009 Portland Pirate Festival made their way into the Guinness Book of World Records today, 9/20/2009, for the “Most Pirates in One Place”, with an official count of 1,651. Those numbers topped the previous world record holders of Brixham, England, who numbered a mere 1,469 back in May.

In order to be counted, each “pirate” had to be in possession of a sword (play or not), an eye patch and a bandanna on their head. Additionally, anyone 13 years old and under needed… Continue

Proud pirate father

I was watching Peter Pan with my kids. When the crocodile tries to eat Hook my 3-year-old son ran up to the tv, "Leave my captain alone!"

How's that for pirate loyalty! Good to know I'm raising them right.

I have contacted them...primarily because I have an interest in Psychobilly/Rockibilly myself. As of this juncture we have our main band for Aldea (The Brazen Heads) however we are looking for other talent.

Thank you so much for your effort and I look foward to supporting this act in my other persona for now ;)
