I have found some very cute and somewhat piratey boots at
Newport News
and of all places
Kmart!
Go figure I just spent 40 bucks having some shipped in and Kmart has some for $19.99! They also have some beanie/scarves/mittens with skull and cross bones on them.

Gorgeous Sterling Silver Jewelry

I found this company when I last went to the airport with the girls....Sky Harbor.

The company is Brighton Collectibles (google and you will find).

They have this bold silver rings and cuff bracelets.

The rings are over $40 for the most part but WORTH IT!!.

I was surfing some local band sites and mentioned to a few about the Raid on Aldea. I let them know that I was NOT the coordinator but it was something that might be well suited to their style (even if they don’t perform, hopefully its more people attending the event).

One band responded to me; I don’t know if they wrote to anyone on here or the Raid on Aldea website so I figured I’d pass their info on to you. They emailed an enthusiastic, “F--- yeah! We’d love to be a part of it.”

They’re called Stitch Hopeless and the Sea Legs

They play psychobilly, a faster type of rockabilly. I’ve seen them perform before--great band! They’ve got an upright bass player and are a very high energy band. Of course they have plenty of drinking references, and at least one “at sea” song posted on their myspace “Can’t Wait To Get Back Home.”

I let them know that their style might still be too modern for what you’re looking for, but I know they’d be a big hit overall, especially with the roller derby crowd. But I’ll leave all that up to you.
