The Arizona Corsair Network

Does anyone know how to reach Ariock? Ariock was one of the founders of (or in our minds the founder) the original Corsairs and a good friend of Wesley the Red.

Please help. I want to honor Wesley the the Red, who was one of the original Corsairs years ago. He passed away form Multiple Sclerosis. Wes was so inspiring til the last day of his life always a true Pirate.and Corsair. After diagnosis, he went to College and joined the drama ciriculum and was an inspiration by attending classes in his wheelchair, co-writing a play, aciting in a play and always thinking of the Corsairs.

I want to go to San Diego and walk in his honor. The money will go to a MS orginazation who helps get MS patients. to doctors, to the store to shop and just general emotional support. They helped see that Wes had an aide to push his wheel chair to class in College.. I will fly to San Diego walk the 3 mile walk in his memory to raise money for this orginizaton that helped Wes and that is encouraging research for a cure. Contributions to the organization to MS Society In Wes's name would be appreciated.

If you are will to contribute. contact me for the addres to send contributions.

But please, help me contact Ariock, I would like to do something special in Wes' memory with Ariock.

Actually, I just want to do something in Wes's memory. Wes must have been suffering from MS for years before we got the diagnosis. By then he was often falling down from lack of muscle control. Once he finally admitted he was ill, he became an inspiration. He ended up in an old people's housing building in a chair only one of 3 younger people (he was early 30's). He was in a wheel chair loosing muscle control to write, shave himself. Instead of bemoaning it, he was an inspiration, He entered college, joined drama club, acted wrote part of the performed and published plays and graduated with the 2 year college determined to become a counselor for handicapped. Unfortunately, died a month or two later. I understand Airiock would have wanted to do something for Wes. I am just looking for anyone who would want to contribute to MS for the MS walk that will be done the weekend of April 4.

Well, he was not actually a "founder", but he WAS a member of my original crew, and later became 1st mate on Morlan's ship. In later years he named himself a captain, but that was not of the Corsairs. However, he was very active in the SeaDogs, which is a Corsair offshoot run by the real Founder's son. He is currently serving a sentance for trying to kill/maim his ex..I hear he'll be getting out later this, or early next year.
